Privacy
This page is a draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
Short version: this website has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no ads. The games are not publicly online yet. In their current test builds they ask only for a nickname, keep it in memory while your room is open, and delete the room after the game.

Who runs Phone Party TV
Phone Party TV is run by Funtika LTD. For any question or request about your data, write to us: support@splitday.com.
This website
- The site is plain web pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, shows no ads, and has no forms. Fonts and images load from this site, not from other companies.
- The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify receives standard request data, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time, so it can deliver pages and protect its service. Netlify handles this data for us as our data processor under its Data Processing Agreement, which is part of Netlify's customer terms. This data is kept for a limited time under Netlify's own terms.
- The domain phonepartytv.com is registered with GoDaddy, and GoDaddy also provides its DNS (the service that points the name to this website). The website itself is hosted on Netlify.
The games
The games are in testing and are not publicly online yet. Today they run only as test builds on our own computer, on a local network. This website has no game server, and no company hosts the games for us yet. This section describes what the current test builds do. Before the games go public, we will update this page to name the company that hosts them.
- Nickname. To join a room you type a nickname (up to 14 characters). Everyone in your room can see it. The server keeps it in memory only while the room exists. Use a made-up nickname, not your full name.
- Rooms are deleted. In the current test builds, the game server deletes a finished room 10 minutes after the game ends, an empty lobby after 2 minutes, and any room after 6 hours at most. Before the games go public, we will confirm on this page how long rooms last on the public game server.
- IP address. In the test builds, the game server holds your IP address in memory only, to limit how many connections one device can open and to stop floods. It does not log it or save it to disk.
- No player logs. In the test builds, the game server keeps your nickname, your IP address, and the room code and reconnect token for your seat in memory only. It does not log them. It writes no record of your moves or chat to disk, though it can print technical error messages on the computer it runs on. Before the games go public, we will decide how long any host or error logs are kept and add that period to this page.
- On your phone. Your browser's own storage on this device keeps your last nickname, the room code and a reconnect token for each room you join, settings such as language, sound and calm mode, and your own game history: in Friday Bourse your badges, streak, best scores and recent daily-market results, and in Night Shift your heists played, coins and crew-win streak. Peak Hour and Rain Check keep no game history. During a Friday Bourse game, your calls for the current market are kept in that browser tab only and are gone when you close it.
- What your phone sends. When you join, your phone sends the game server the room code and the nickname you typed. If your phone drops, it sends the room code and the reconnect token to put you back in your seat. Your game history and settings are never sent. The reconnect token is deleted when your phone learns the room has closed or you were removed; everything else stays until you clear this site's data in your browser.
- On the TV. The TV's browser tab keeps its room code and a host token, so the TV can take its room back after a reload. They go only to the game server, for that purpose, and are gone when you close the tab. In Night Shift, the tab also keeps a win tally for the current room, which is not sent anywhere. The TV's browser also remembers display settings such as language, sound, calm mode and, in Friday Bourse, the chart style.
- Nothing else. The games have no accounts, no payments, no cookies and no analytics.
Children
These are party games, so children may play at a family party with adults in the room. The website and games are not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age). We never ask for a real name, email, phone number or photo. The only thing a player types is a nickname that the room can see, so a parent or the host should help children pick a made-up one. If you think a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete anything we hold.
Other companies involved
- Netlify hosts this website.
- GoDaddy is the domain registrar and DNS provider.
- No company hosts the games yet, because they are not publicly online. Before they go public, we will name the game host here.
We do not sell or share personal data, and we have no advertising partners.
Your choices
- You can read every page without giving us anything.
- You can clear the game data on your phone at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Write to us: support@splitday.com. Since rooms are deleted after each game, usually the answer is nothing.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its effective date before the change applies. If a change is significant, we will also note it on the home page.
